Απ' ότι φαίνεται η εκπαίδευσή μας είναι εξαιρετικά ανεπαρκής

Διαπιστώνω ότι στην Αυστραλία για μια απλή οργανωμένη βουτιά με σκάφος χρειάζεσαι όλα αυτά τα απλά πράγματα που (κατά τύχη) είχαν μαζί τους ο Richard και η Allyson:
-> 9mm στολή για νερά 23 βαθμών

-> συσκευή απώθησης καρχαριών (1300 ευρώ)
-> ένα μπουκάλι νερό - προφανώς για καλό και για κακό μήπως περάσουν πολλές ώρες μέχρι να τους βρούν

I think there has been a lot of misleading information floating around about this incident. There are still a lot of questions to be answered. Why did they take a water bottle with them on a 60 minute dive? Why were they in a thick suit when the waters are a mild 23C? Why did they leave the lagoon when they were told not too? Why didn't they inflate their sausage straight away and wait until nightfall? And, why did they not go and stand on the shallow reef that was waist high and wave for attention if the water was too choppy for the crew to see them? Also, I bet you will find that their insurance will not cover the search of the divers just the transportation from water to base. Two very experienced divers doing some very inexperienced actions.
