Advanced Tech
Almost the same course as tech, but a deeper dive, we dive to 75 meters on air. On this course it is vital to have a swimming decompression station. On this course we learn how to do decompression on 2 different gasses, and when to use them.
Requirements:- Minimum 18 years.
- Have SURR tech course.
- Meet medical Qualifications
- Have a minimum of 60 logged decompression dives after tech course.
- Must be able to swim 25 meters on one breath.
- Must be able to swim 400 meters in max 13 minutes.
Duration:
The course is normally conducted in a period of 10 days.
Theoretical lessons:- Diving Medicine.
- Deep diving on air.
- Team diving.
- Solo diving.
- Use of decompression station
- Emergency situations.
- Physics
- Advantages over Trimix.
- Decompression station, swimming and stationary.
- Equipment configuration.
In water lessons:- Deep diving on air.
- 8 dives.
- Emergency procedures.
Equipment requirements:- Single 18 liter tank.
- 2 stage 7 liter 200 bar alu/steel.
- BCD/Wing.
- Diving light.
- Split fins.
